174 House Dems Block Ban On Terrorist TSA Employees

Love it or hate it, the U.S. Transportation Security Administration – TSA – is tasked with protecting the nation’s transportation systems to ensure freedom of movement for people and commerce. This federal organization was founded in 2001 under the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) in the wake of the 9/11 attacks when President Bush declared War on Terror and the rise of the New World Order.

On March 5, 2020, an astonishing 174 U.S. House of Representatives Democrats voted against a proposed amendment to the Rights for Transportation Security Officers Act to ban TSA from employing anyone convicted of sexual misconduct, violent crimes or terrorism.

Democratic Illinois Rep. Lauren Underwood put forward the amendment which was opposed by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and her three fellow Squadsters, Reps. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), Ayanna Pressley (D-MA), and Ilhan Omar (D-MN).

Rep. Debbie Lesko (R-AZ) broke down the amendment into simple terms:

“We have two options today: Adopt the Underwood amendment and keep sexual predators off of the federal payroll or reject it and reward sexual predators with a paycheck from the taxpayer.”

For the record, Ocasio-Cortez, Omar, Tlaib, Pressley, and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) all abstained from voting on their fellow party member’s protectionary amendment.

Votes from the House Republicans and 42 Democrats passed the amendment by a vote of 227-175. Afterward, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy called the rogue Democrats the “socialist wing of the party.”

Why would any sane person even consider permitting convicted terrorists to work for the national agency in charge of protecting Us the People from terrorism? This doesn’t make sense and seems downright anti-American.

TSA workers are deployed at airports, subways, bus stations, and ports to screen passengers and keep an eye out for shoe bombers and other sociopathic suicidal mass murderers. This ongoing activity was fueled and justified by one single failed attempt to blow up a planeful of infidels, suicide-style, by an Islamic extremist in December 2001 – three months after 9/11.

The man known as the Shoe Bomber, 41-year-old British-born Richard Reid, had spent two years in training camps in Afghanistan and Pakistan between 1998 and 2000, where he had specifically received bomb training by Midhat Mursi who is often billed as al-Qaeda’s “master bomb-maker.”

On December 22, 2001, the religious fanatic boarded American Airlines Flight 63 from Paris to Miami. During the flight, Reid tried to use a match to light explosives hidden in his shoes. A woman near him thought she smelled sulfur from matches and worried that someone was trying to smoke on the plane so she notified a flight attendant.

The flight attendant saw Reid struggling to light a fuse sticking out of his damp shoe (it had been raining) which contained a plastic explosive. Passengers and crew restrained the would-be killer before two doctors sedated him. The AA flight diverted to Boston where Reid was arrested. He was sentenced to a life sentence.

In 2015, the convicted Shoe Bomber told a researcher in a letter from the supermax prison in Colorado, that Islamic law sanctioned him to kill 197 passengers in the name of Allah but it obviously wasn’t his time to die, hence the snafu:

“I admit many people would dispute that and disagree with me on that point. However, at the same time, I also believe that it wasn’t supposed to happen, not because it was displeasing to God…rather because it was not either my time to die nor that of those on the plane with me, and he had other plans for me which include my staying in prison and other matters which I may not be aware of as of yet.”

Dr. Kimberly Mehlman-Orozco is corresponding with the imprisoned Reid to research a book about him. In one letter, he defended the terrorist attack of January 7, 2015, on the Paris, France, offices of the satirical magazine “Charlie Hebdo” that had published an unflattering cartoon of the Prophet Mohammed:

“I do not see what happened at Charlie Hebdo as a tragedy. Rather the tragedy is that people think it is OK to demean the sacred and belittle that which is more beloved to we Muslims than their own souls. And as the saying goes, if you play with fire you might get burned, so I have no tears for those who insult Islam.”

This, then, is the bloodthirsty mindset of one Islamic terrorist who failed his mission and survived to share his idealogy. Reid has no remorse over his actions and still scorns all non-Muslim infidels.

Despite knowing that extremist Muslims have vowed jihad (holy war) against the rest of the world’s people through acts of brutal terrorism and that TSA’s job is to prevent acts of brutal terrorism from befalling the American people, 174 Democrat Representatives refused to vote to prevent convicted sexual predators, violent criminals or terrorists to work for TSA. Does that make them enemies of American society?
