An Extreme Never-Trumper Is Making A Comeback…

For the past eight months, conservative Republican apostate, Steve Schmidt, had mercifully disappeared from the lineup of MSNBC false flag panelists.  His last known one-time Republican credential was as an advisor to Arizona Senator John McCain.  His hiatus from the airwaves was due to his signing up to advise Howard Schultz – the Starbucks executive who want to run for President as an independent Democrat.

Since the election of President Trump, Schmidt has found his fame and fortune could best be achieved by being among the most rabid, foaming-at-the-mouth mad dog critics of the President.  No hardcore Trump-hating Democrat could outdo Schmidt’s unhinged and irrational verbal attacks on Trump.  They were mostly ad hominin attacks that had no relationship to real events or policies.  It was political Tourette Syndrome without the foul language  — which I assume was restrained by broadcast policies.

Like other false-flag Republicans – such as Elise Jordan, Susan Del Percio and former Congressman David Jolly — Schmidt has betrayed his Republican title by abandoning every conservative core principle which the Republican Party generally embraces.  He zealously sides with those who would expand the size and influence of the federal government, would take away our private health insurance, would undermine free-market capitalism to a return to excessive regulation, would decriminalize illegal border crossing, would abolish ICE as the enforcement agency tracking down criminal illegal aliens, would stifle our economic growth with new taxes and would return our foreign policy to the establishment bureaucrats who failed so miserably for decades.

In a Faustian submission, folks like Schmidt reveal their unbridled hatred for Trump – and a lust for fame and fortune.  If they have not sold their souls, the have most certainly sold their mouths.

Schmidt has now made a much-heralded return to his old job as a member of the panels of parroting pundits engaged by MSNBC.  In a recent primetime interview on “All In with Chris Hayes,” the show’s namesake host proudly and accurately introduced Schmidt as an “MSNBC Republican” – a breed of their own.

While Schmidt brings no new perspective to MSNBC, he indicated that he will appear four or five times during the program day – jumping from show to show to offer up his repetitious venomous perspective.  There is NOTHING … absolutely nothing … that Trump says or does that will not lead to the end of the American Republic and a world in epic chaos.

Such extreme bloviating turns off rational, objective and intelligent people – even those who may not like Trump — but it revs up the passion of those who are dominated by their spleen and not their brain.  That seems to be the audience Hayes attracts based on their applause for Schmidt’s most outrageous statement.

Schmidt’s absence could have provided an opportunity to bring a wee bit of reason and civility to MSNBC viewers.  But then again, it seems that a lot of MSNBC regulars are not interested in reason and civility.  At least they will get what they want and deserve.  The rest of us can only wonder why major portions of our so-called news media have sunk so low.

So, there ‘tis.

He’s no more a Republican than Bernie is. Considering he worked for McCain, it’s no shock he’s not a conservative.
