Schiff Is Screwed: Whistle Blower May Not Testify

It’s been several weeks since it was first reported that someone had come forward accusing the President of a wrongful act regarding a phone call with the newly elected Ukrainian President — concerning the countries long history of corruption and in particularly questionable dealings committed by former Vice President Joe Biden along with his son Hunter.

Even then, I predicted that the “wheels on the impeachment train” would eventually derail the “witch hunt express.”

On Sunday’s broadcast of CBS’s “Face the Nation,” House Intelligence Committee chairman Rep. Adam Schiff suddenly jammed on the airbrakes on the impeachment train by announcing the whistleblower who triggered the impeachment inquiry against President Donald Trump might not testify.

That stunning revelation follows on the heels Thursday’s regarding another eye-opening disclosure reported by the Wall Street Journal that “lawyers for the CIA officer whose whistleblower complaint helped ignite an impeachment inquiry into President Trump have asked Congress whether their client could submit testimony in writing instead of appearing in person, according to people familiar with the matter.”

“The intelligence committees haven’t yet responded to the inquiry about potential written testimony,” the Journal also reported.

However, Schiff’s announcement that the whistleblower may not actually testify regardless, suggests either something a lot more sinister being devised by House Democrats or that the CIA analyst at the center of the impeachment storm has perhaps decided it’s getting much too hot for him to actually testify under oath.

The apparent conflict between House Democrats and the so-called whistleblower emerged last week when it was announced that the whistleblower’s voice would be disguised, and interviewing him would be away from Capitol Hill. Now, his lawyers are apparently trying to avoid even doing an interview altogether, suggesting that the so-called whistleblower has a lot more to hide than his identity.

Considering the Whistleblower aside from being a CIA analyst and registered Democrat has also worked under the Obama/Biden Administration with perhaps “firsthand” knowledge regarding the Biden connection within Ukraine.

This sets up all kinds of interesting scenarios for House Republicans who would demand cross-examining the whistleblower, thus the reason no doubt for the refusal by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to formally hold a House vote, that would give Republicans equal legal footing to conduct a counter investigation.

Moreover questioning the whistleblower regarding any previous contacts with members of Congress “before” he filed the whistleblower complaint, and the reasons why he purposely omitted checking off the box, that asked that very question, “under penalty of perjury.”

The “Whistleblower Protection Act” provides individuals with a legal blanket of immunity, which begs the question, why all the “smoke and mirrors?”  The “Act” is designed for those very reasons, against retaliation, unless the “Act” is maliciously used for nefarious purposes.

A source close to the investigation told the Daily Caller News Foundation. “Schiff may not want the whistleblower to testify anymore because the whistleblower would have to reveal more details about this cooperation with Schiff.”

However, the President’s new legal honcho Former Republican South Carolina Rep. Trey Gowdy predicted Sunday that the U.S. intelligence community might stop providing information to Schiff because he leaks “like a screen door on a submarine.”

The former congressman and new addition to the Trump impeachment team were asked by fellow Republicans his opinion regarding a looming resolution calling for the disingenuous and highly partisan Schiff to step down as chairman of the House panel.

“Never seen that before,” said Gowdy, who served on the intelligence panel before leaving Congress in January. “We never voted to remove or ask a chairperson to step down.”

Adding, “Adam is a deeply partisan person. He did everything he could to make sure Hillary Clinton became president. And he’s done everything he could to keep a cloud over the Trump Presidency.”

Thus far 9-Republicans on the House Intelligence Committee formally called for California Rep. Adam Schiff to step down as chairman.

Texas Rep. Mike Conaway read aloud at the beginning of a committee hearing a letter submitted to Schiff, which read.

“Your willingness to continue to promote a demonstrably false narrative is alarming. We have no faith in your ability to discharge your duties in a manner consistent with your Constitutional responsibility and urge your immediate resignation as Chairman of this Committee.”

As stated at the beginning of my article, the impeachment train is beginning to derail…especially when the next IG report is made public, shortly.

Good thoughts brother. My mother whipped me when I told a lie and now all these years later I’m glad she did. I have enough respect for my fellow Americans to always tell the truth even when it hurts.

The more this drags on the less I believe there is a whistleblower. It seems like a Shiff charade to me.

So, where is Schiff’s subpoena for the “hearsay whistleblower” or warning he will be obstructing justice and can go to jail if he refuses to testify? This charade should be blown wide open and stopped now.

Schiff is one of the worlds great liars, and anyone who gives credence to any thing he says is suspect.
