Trump Campaign Blasts Fox News Poll as “Garbage”
October 14

The Trump campaign criticized the methodology of a recent Fox Poll which claimed that 51% of Americans want the President impeached and removed from office.

The usually pro-Trump network either mistakenly or knowingly sampled considerably more Democrats than Republicans and much fewer independent voters that would be considered by professional polling organization like Rasmussen and Gallup to be fundamentally flawed and skewed data.

“It’s not hard to get 51% in favor of impeachment when nearly half of those polled were Democrats,” a Trump campaign official said in a statement to the Daily Caller. “The media should put this poll where it belongs – in the garbage.”

Adding, “51% wants Trump impeached and removed from office, another 4% want him impeached but not removed, and 40%t oppose impeachment altogether,” Fox News reported Wednesday, a result that signified a 9% jump from July when the question was last posed.

The usually reliable network within recent years has advanced a small however vocal group of progressive newsmen like anchor’s Shepard Smith, Chris Wallace, and journalist Juan Williams, which allows the network a more diverse overview regarding their motto of “fair and balanced.”

This was perhaps the reason why the uproar by so many Fox viewers, after learning that the criteria for the poll used in gauging voter sentiment was flawed.

The poll was conducted October 6th through the 8th during a heated national dialog regarding the Presidents infamous July 25th call to the new Ukraine’s President in which the President concerned about the historic corruption within the Ukraine along with the country’s interference during the 2016 election and former Vice President Biden’s public shake-down of the former Ukrainian president to either fire a certain prosecutor who was investigating a corruption case, involving Biden’s son Hunter or lose approximately $1 billion dollars in aid.

The Trump campaign noted that the Fox News Poll “randomly sampled” 1,003 voters of which 48.1% identified themselves as Democrats, 40% as Republicans and only 12% as Independent, a far different number  then the national average for each voting group, especially concerning that all-important group of independent voters, which by almost every criteria available is the voting block that will decide the 2020 Presidential election.

A fact that wasn’t lost by the Trump campaign, which quickly pointed out that Independent voters oppose impeaching and or removing the President by a 47% to 39% margin, however, that key voting block for some unexplained reason was critically underrepresented in the Fox Poll.

The network in July conducted a similar poll that had 46% Democrat and 15% Independent, which comprised a 5% shift that still leaned heavily Democratic, which may have represented a shift from the narrative that a majority of Americans supposedly support removing the President from office.

The President noted (what many Fox viewers have suspected), that the network is “different than it used to be.”

Conservative radio icon Rush Limbaugh also weighed in on Fox’s dubious polling methods stating too many “Never Trumpers” who refuse to defend President Donald Trump’s phone call to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.”

The reference he explained was the apparent ambiguity by the network to factually fact check the incident stating, “Trumpers now all over Fox News” saying they “wouldn’t want to have to defend this phone call.”

Adding, “There’s nothing hard to defend about the phone call!” Limbaugh contended. “You just don’t want to defend it! You know, Fox really ought to change the name of the network from the Fox News Channel to the Fox Never Trumper Network, because that’s who’s getting the highlights, and they’re bringing in Democrats like Donna Brazile.”

The same Donna Brazile who was caught attempting to rig the CNN Democratic Debate for Hillary Clinton, during the 2016 election by providing answers to her in advance.

It appears that Fox has taken a page out of CNN’s playbook, by hiring dubious characters like John Brennan and Donna Brazile…leftovers from the Democratic Party.
