I few weeks ago an Iowa college professor with a history of posting violent tweets on social received enormous backlash after he expressed a yearning to bash the President of the United States with a baseball bat

Jeff Klinzman has either resigned or more likely was fired after the school received an avalanche of protests on social media from concerned citizens.

The loony educator ended his 10-year employment on Tuesday after his comments went viral praising the black-clad terrorist thugs and openly professing on social media “I am Antifa.”

In a prepared statement Kirkwood Community College President Lori Sundberg acknowledged Klinzman’s resignation stating. “We have spoken with Mr. Klinzman this afternoon about this matter and have accepted his resignation. “With the safety of our students, faculty, and staff as our top concern, we made the decision this morning to identify an instructor who will take over the one course that Mr. Klinzman was to have taught this semester.”

Sundberg continued acknowledging that while the decision “may be supported by some,” it will also be “criticized by others,” and went on to explain that the issue surrounding Klinzman had gained enough attention for “the potential to create an environment that is disruptive to our mission.”

According to a press release obtained by Campus Reform, Klinzman’s so-called “resignation” may have been simply a face-saving attempt by the school which had on Friday already made the “decision to remove Mr. Klinzman from the classroom,” suggesting that Klinzman’s resignation was not voluntary.

The controversy that led to Klinzman’s ouster began about a week or so ago after President Trump in a July 27th tweet criticized the violent prone extremist group after their weekend confrontation in Portland, with an equally menacing right-wing group posting “Consideration is being given to declaring ANTIFA, the gutless Radical Left Wack Jobs who go around hitting (only non-fighters) people over the heads with baseball bats, a major Organization of Terror (along with MS-13 & others), would make it easier for police to do their job!”

The President’s tweet apparently outraged Klinzman who had gained some notoriety regarding his extremist posts, in which a local TV station had apparently uncovered numerous tweets both on his private Facebook page along with the local Antifa chapter in Iowa, advocating violence towards Trump supporters and Christians, along with praising and supporting publicly the black-clad masked thugs stating on local ABC affiliate KCRG-TV, “I affirm that I am Antifa.”

Acknowledging once again he stood behind his comments by reaffirming a poem containing the words, “Kill them all and bury them deep in the ground,” to which he added the comment, “It’s not pretty, and I’m not proud, but seeing what evangelical Christians are doing to this country and its people fills me with rage, and a desire to exact revenge.”

However what caught the attention of the secret service was his comment regarding the President’s July 27th tweet, in which Klinzman responded on the local Antifa Facebook page “Yeah, I know who I’d clock with a bat…”

Antifa, which is short for anti-fascist, has been facing scrutiny and calls to be labeled as a domestic terrorist organization for well over a year, after the radical extremist group decided to move from protesting peacefully with an occasional fringe element of violence, to a violent prone anarchist mob usually attacking innocent bystanders.

However, on June 29th Antifa, thugs made a tactical error in judgment by attacking a conservative freelance journalist named  Andy Ngo, sending the 30-year old blogger to the hospital with a serious skull fracture. The incident drew national attention and additional scrutiny from both the President and the Justice Department

I am glad he got fired, his rantings and out right hatred for President Trump should be reason enough to have Antifa listed as a Terrorist Organization. The sooner it is on that list the better for the country as a whole.

It would be interesting to see what exactly his employment status was. If he was only teaching one class he was probably an adjunct, who can be removed easily. If he was a full time faculty, or better yet, tenured, he’d still be on staff.

if anyone had made that comment directed toward Obama, they would have been arrested & locked up immediately! I really don’t understand why it is so hard to name Antifa as a terrorist group, when they have proven over & over again that is exactly what they are.

Antifa and MS-13 should’ve been on the Terrorist organization list for at LEAST a year. That may have prevented several of their acts that injured others. To NOT have them listed as what they are is simply wrong and shows a lack common sense.

Antifa, which is short for anti-fascist,is this what the Fascist did “Kill them all and bury them deep in the ground,”
We have to refer back to an old saying “How do we defeat an enemy when we become that enemy”
