A Memo To Beto

To: Beto O’Rourke

As a longtime political consultant and strategist, allow me to give you a bit of free unsolicited advice.  I understand that as a Democrat presidential candidate your in need for publicity – especially since your polling numbers are not very encouraging.

In many ways, you are typical of candidates in your position.  You need to become a bit outrageous to get attention.  But that does not always produce good results.

The fact that the one tragic shooting took place in your hometown gives you a reason to speak out.  You relate to that community as none of your other challengers.  That is to your advantage.

On the other hand, politicizing the tragedy for your own gain is … shall we say … rather disgusting.  You not only jumped on the political narrative of the moment – that President Trump is personally responsible for the shooting – but you took it to unbelievable extremes.

I would agree that President Trump could be more judicious with his words, but nothing he has said can be honestly and legitimately connected to the murders in El Paso – or anywhere else.  You and your colleagues – including the Democrat-owned media – have distorted Trump’s words, taken some out of context, willfully misinterpreted his meaning and, in some cases, totally lied about what he said and did not say.

You falsely accuse Trump of being a white supremacist.  That is no more connected to the truth than if I were to accuse you of being a communist.  You stated that Trump is the most racist President since Andrew Johnson, the southern Democrat who succeeded President Lincoln.  You seem to have skipped over Democrat Presidents Woodrow Wilson and Franklin Roosevelt – whose white supremacy has been one of the Democratic Party’s best kept dirty little secrets.

It is not only a matter of the mendacious substance of your statements, it is your delivery.  Get a grip, Beto.  You look like a man on the verge of a nervous breakdown.  Maybe it is only theatrics, but it does not work well on camera.

Finally, there is your demand that Trump NOT visit El Paso.  First of all, that is just not your call.  Like it or not, Trump IS the President of the United States.  In times of tragedy, the people, the politicians, the media – and even you – have called for a “coming together” – a moment of unity in repudiating the people and groups that promote and carry out these psychopathic crimes.  Trump has done his part with his speech.  It is time you do your part – instead of promoting anger and hatred.

Instead of “coming together,” you drive the wedge of separation for self-serving political purposes.  In a very real sense, your words are designed to promote and encourage protest against the President when he is on a humanitarian mission.  It makes your calls for national unity ring hallow.

I feel confident that most Americans will not be fooled by your self-serving political performance – at least I hope not.  In the meantime, shame on you.

So, there ‘tis.

I’m from Texas, Beto should move to Chicago where I’m sure he would have a following. Maybe there is a job for a community organizer???

BETO IS A BAD RESULT . . . Especially for THIS country. He needs to just drop out and disappear. NO ONE is worthless though – He can AT LEAST serve as a BAD EXAMPLE! Team Trump and his allies 2020.

Actually, Robert is a socialist – and the only real difference between socialism and communism is how forceful it’s implemented – socialism is voted in; communism is by force.

Next, as a professional writer, you should take care with your editing, otherwise you come off as amateurish. In the very first paragraph, you intend to use the contraction “you’re”, but instead “your” is published.

Most of the candidates on the democratic ticket sound like our university professors. Professors who are dumbing down our younger generation. The candidates think we older adults are a product of the same. Difference is we have lived thru the lies and wrong doings of the Kennedy’s, Clinton’s & Obama’s Plus slippery Joe! Joe looks like one of his Hollywood buddies paid for a make over.

Robert O’Roarke, aka “Beto” is simply a fool who is being used by people much smarter than he could ever be. All you have to do is listen to what spews from his mouth. He and A.O.C. would make a great couple.

I’ll take Beto or any other Democrat in the hopes of ridding this country of the most corrupt, destructive president ever. In fact, I’d take Mickey Mouse if it were my only choice. I once was a Republican.

You’re an election late – that’s why we elected Trump.

Next, if you are indeed referring to Trump, please post PROOF of your accusations.

Is President Trump corrupt? Not when considering President Harding with 3 members of his cabinet going to jail for corruption (Teapot Dome); President Grant with his brother running Indian Affairs and culminating with the loss of 7th U.S. Cavalry!! So President Trump is no where near the most corrupt President nor will he ever be!

Good luck with that. Obviously, you do not understand politics….and as far as the most corrupt…you do not know this. There is NO proof…just like MSNBC and CNN spewing for two years and Chuck Schumer and the rest of them swearing they have ABSOLUTE proof of COLLUSION, yet it turns out there wasn’t any.

You’re such a liar Lexie. I’m not sure what kind of “Republican” you were to support a lunatic like Beto. What a joke. I use to be a Democrat, and switched parties to become a Republican in 2016 when I voted for President Trump. I plan to vote for President Trump again in 2020. Many of us have #WalkAway from the Democratic party. Especially those of us who were Blue Dog Democrats. The current Democratic party is nothing but a bunch of crazy communists. No thanks. I’ll stick with Trump. #Trump2020.
