Justice Ginsburg Quips About Death of Senator Who Wanted Her Dead

Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg took to the airwaves recently to let the American public know that she is alive and well, and also has a dark and snarky sense of humor.

During a recent interview on NPR Justice Ginsberg addressed the deep concerns the Left has over her failing health and the possibility that Donald Trump will get another swing at stacking the court with ultra-conservative justices.

During the interview, Justice Ginsburg, who many had counted out last year with another cancer bout, said, “There was a senator, I think it was after pancreatic cancer, who announced with great glee that I was going to be dead within six months … that senator, whose name I have forgotten, is now himself dead, and I am very much alive.”

The senator who Ginsburg was referring to was Kentucky Republican Senator Jim Bunning, who died in 2017.

Ginsburg has shown no signs of slowing down nor stepping down and made it clear that as long as she’s able to do the job well she’s not going anywhere.

Ginsburg went on to note that she felt that her issues with her cancer have been remedied by sticking to her heavy workload on the Supreme Court, suggesting it helps with any physical complications.

“The work is really what saved me,” Ginsburg said. “Because I had to concentrate on reading the briefs, doing a draft of opinion, and I knew it had to get done. So, I had to get past whatever my aches and pains were just to do the job.”

Praise for Justice Kavanaugh

While the liberal Justice’s words directed at the late Sen. Bunning could be considered tacky, to say the least, back in June she did have some surprisingly kind words for newly appointed conservative Justice, Brett Kavanaugh, praising him for hiring an all-female staff. During a town hall meeting, Justice Ginsberg said, “There is a very important first on the Supreme Court this term, and it’s thanks to our new justice, Justice Kavanaugh, whose entire staff are all women and all of his law clerks are women.”

    The problem is …

SHE DISQUALIFIED herself when she began relying on, AND QUOTING “foreign Law” in her decision making process.

but the ‘republicans’ didn’t want to be seen as BULLIES for ENFORCING THE CONSTITUTION on her.

We have always looked to foreign law in deciding what we should have in our laws. (Starting of course with British law, because it was obvious what worked and what did not). That is not the same as using foreign law as precedent, which would be wrong. Your ideas of treason and the constitution are rather off base in this situation.

Reality about SCOTUS is not a commodity of truth for Treasonous Repiglicans like Moscow Mitch, Trotsky Trump, Bolshevik Barrack, Chechnya Chow, Leningrad Closet Queen Lindsay, Petrograd Pence, Canton Cornyn, Novosibirsk Nunes, and all of the other McCarthy/Cohn Russian collaborators in DC.
All liberal SCOTUS opinions of substance were written by Repiglicans.
Miranda, Roe v Wade, Reproductive Rights, Kelo, Obamacare, and on and on.
Bunning was a great pitcher, but the worst Senator ever elected in Kentucky before Moscow Mitch.
      Ginsburg is a national Treasure.

The Justices appointed by President Trump are in no way “ultra conservative “. I am ultra conservative. Deportation of illegals, term limits for Congress, designating MS13 a terrorist organization and repealing homosexual “marriage” – that is conservative.

Ginsburg praises Kavanaugh not for making sound decsions on cases based on the Constitution, but, for hiring an all female staff. Just goes to show what her priorities really are; enforcing PC ideology, and, who cares about the Constitution.

From what I’ve seen of Kavanaugh on the SC bench so far I’ve got to ask what HIS priorities are. It would be hard to “accidentally” hire an all-female staff. After the pain of his nomination hearing does he just want to reassure everyone that he’s a “nice” fellow and there’s really nothing to worry about? One hopes not but can’t help wondering.

She has played the “Pull it out of her rear end” a few times too many. She like others on the bench are not “Constitutional” Law Scholars. They are “Case Law Scholars”, which means they are totally unfit to be on that bench.

The fact is however RGB wouldn’t make a pimple on Jim Bunning’s rear-end. She is immanently unqualified to sit on that bench.

“…as long as she’s able to do the job well she’s not going anywhere.”

There is the clincher. Time for her to step down.
