In did not take long for left-wing Democratic Presidential hopefuls to immediately politicize the tragic shooting that took place over the weekend in California.

The 2020 Democratic field on Sunday responded to the Gilroy Garlic Festival shooting that killed at least four, including the gunman, and injured 15, saying the incident is a horrible reminder of the country’s “gun violence epidemic.”

“This violence is not normal,” former Vice President, Joe Biden tweeted, “How many more families will have to lose a loved one before we fix our broken gun laws? We must take action, starting with real reform.”

Authorities in Gilroy were joined Monday by officials from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives in their investigation. Early reports indicated that a single gunman opened fire and was engaged in under one minute by police officers who were stationed nearby.

The shooting, which occurred while a festival band was onstage, sent crowds running for cover, in chilling similarities to the 2017 Las Vegas massacre that resulted in 58 deaths.

Sen. Kamala Harris, D-Calif., who was once the state’s attorney general, took to Twitter to call the shooting “horrific.” Adding, “Our country has a gun violence epidemic that we cannot tolerate.”

According to Fox News, Harris said she would move quickly to curb gun violence if elected to the White House, vowing to use executive action if Congress didn’t act in her first 100 days.

Other Dems Also Chime in Blaming the Guns

Other leading Democratic contenders also took to tweeter to blame the guns as is the usual response from the left. Sen. Cory Booker, D-N.J., tweeted that his heart breaks for the families involved in the shooting, and also pointed to the gun violence “epidemic.”

Beto O’Rourke did not mention the Gilroy shooting in a late-Sunday tweet, but said he was “sending love to all who are hurting tonight—and all who are affected by the 40,000 gun deaths in America each year.”

Gun control has been a key issue for Democrats and many have laid out plans on how they will approach the issue. Booker unveiled a wide-ranging gun control proposal this week and showcased his call for federal licensing of firearms.

These shooting are despicable. Done by people that are out of control, think that they have the right to take, and destroy innocent lives.

Guns really do not kill people, people kill people. If Congress worked to employ those that live here legally and gave them hope for a better life then perhaps they would not be looking to blame others for their plight. More illegal immigrants leads to more unemployment, more disaffected people, more crime and whatever else. Lets help those who live here legally and there would probably be less gun violence.

These people (DimWit Dems) always inflate the number of deaths by gun fire. Each death is a tragedy, and very sad. However; In this case, O’Ruorke uses the number 40,000. Not even close, only 14,623 in 2018, if you add gun related injuries (not deaths) you can add another 28,159. They always want to blame the gun and not the user. Many more people are killed in automobiles than by gun shoots. In fact, in 2018 36,750 died in automobile accidents, 2016 & 2017 both saw over 40,000 deaths in automobile crashes. But they call deaths in automobiles “accidents” when in fact the vast majority are because of poor judgement, distraction like cell phones, drunk or just not paying attention. None of these things are accidents. But gun deaths are an epidemic. Go Figure…..???

I should have added that the vast majority of death by fire arms is in the Democratic stronghold cities like Baltimore, Chicago, Detroit, NY City, Los Angeles, Boston, Philadelphia, etc. All these places have very stringent gun laws, but they also have an abundance of illegal guns floating around. This just goes to show that stringent gun control does not equal safety, but rather, it make none gun owners vulnerable and targets. More legally armed citizens equals safer cities.

Another NWO-FBI perpetrated gun-control mass shooting you mean… it is of no coincidence that this occurred just before the debate and ever so conveniently the shooter-stooge was killed while there was talk of a second shooter, most likely a sniper! Man, It is so obvious how the sheeple are being played as fine fiddles! WTFU, REVOLUTION will be the SOLUTION against these Godless, Satan worshiping, power-mad, NWO-elitist ghouls calling themselves Democ-RATS/Progressives!

If there is really a health epidemic it is medical care. There are over 220,000 deaths every year from medical malpractice. Over 15 timed more than gun deaths, of which are about 10,000 that are self inflicted, and 1,000 by accident, with the balance of about 10,000 by criminals.
