Shocking Video: NYPD cops drenched by Harlem youth

The stunning video clip says it all, as two of New York’s Finest endure the humiliation and disrespect by a shameless young punk sneaking behind the officer and pouring a bucket of water on his head. Remarkably the officer kept his composure without resorting to violence, although both were accosted and physically assaulted multiple times.

However the real restraint took place as a soaked police officer and his partner were handcuffing a suspect on the hood of a black car, when suddenly a red plastic bucket was hurled at them, hitting the officer in the back of the head.

The shocking video clips posted on Monday regarding two separate and shameful incidents, the first in Spanish Harlem, at 115th Street and St. Nicholas Avenue and the second sometime after 4 p.m. near 1400 East New York Ave. little more than two blocks away from the 73rd Precinct Station House in Brownsville.

Both videos show bucketfuls of water hurled toward cops as onlookers watch, and in some cases laugh or prance in glee.

The 19-second video clip shows a man picking up a bucket and hurling it at the police officer, the bucket finds its mark bouncing off the back of the police officers head, as bystanders to exclaim, “Oh!”

After viewing the disturbing video an NYPD source said. “Everybody’s outraged.”

Adding, “It’s disgusting, embarrassing, there’s lawlessness around here now.”

NYPD Chief of Department Terence Monahan posted a still image of the ricocheting bucket on his Twitter account, where he called the video “reprehensible.”

“NYC’s cops & communities have made remarkable progress — together — but EVERY New Yorker MUST show respect for our cops. They deserve nothing less,” he wrote.

The second video clip is considerably longer, running over 30 seconds showing two police officers in sopping-wet uniforms walking away as water flies through the air toward their backs, when suddenly a brazen youth in white shorts sneaks up behind one of the officers and douses him with a bucket of water, as the officer continues walking away, the crowd of course cheering.

Neither of the officers notified the NYPD about the incident before the video surfaced on social media, sources said. It’s also worth pointing out that both officers are relatively new to the job, which perhaps speaks volumes of the indoctrination under Mayor Bill de Blasio’s “hands-off approach” involving young street punks feeling embolden to actually assault police officers, without suffering repercussions.

These two incidents has drawn the wrath of the head of the NYPD Police Benevolent Association calling the water bucket attacks “the end result of the torrent of bad policies and anti-police rhetoric that has been streaming out of City Hall and Albany for years now.”

PBA President Patrick Lynch continued “We are approaching the point of no return.  Disorder controls the streets, and our elected leaders refuse to allow us to take them back.”

Adding, “As police officers, we need to draw a line. In situations like this, we need to take action to protect ourselves and the public. The politicians may not care about the dangerous levels of chaos in our neighborhoods, but police officers and decent New Yorkers should not be forced to suffer.”

De Blasio has long ago lost the respect of his police department, continually putting them in harms way by taking away the policing tools needed to safeguard themselves and a city of over 9 million people. One of those tools was the extremely effective “Stop and Frisk” Program which allowed police to stop a suspected individual of perhaps carrying a concealed firearm. De Blasio of course stopped the practice claiming that it discriminated against minorities; however it was law abiding minorities living within the same cesspool as these officers being assaulted, resulted in saving lives by taking illegal handguns off the street.

New York City once had the reputation of having the most gifted and professional police force in the nation, seeing these two video’s of police officers being assaulted and walking away, will be the mayor’s legacy of how he systematically destroyed and betrayed New York’s finest.

DiBlasio is standing up for the rights of these “youths” to protest police violence.

At the same time, he’s declared Donald Trump “is no longer welcome” in NYC.

Remember, DiBlasio was emphatically reelected last year.

I don’t think it’s the politicians that are the problem. It’s the VOTERS.

The people need to vote out the Communist DeBlasio and get in office a strong no nonsense conservative Republican. Untie the hands of Law Enforcement and watch how quickly people will respect the law.

Thank the Lord God I’m not a New Yorker!
I wouldn’t let that Gobshite Commie take charge of a bare handed diaper washing stand, let alone one of the foremost cities in the world.
What in the world could New Yorkers have been thinking when they allowed this odorous slime to slither in under the door. Please do better next time New York. Many of us remember fondly your great era.

In many other places, these swine would have found themselves arrested and heading for jail. In NYC, IF these swine are actually arrested, they will get nothing more than a slap on the wrist. Believe we know what these critters really deserve.

If DeBlasio had a female or a male working for the local government and they were treated like this, would he tell them to stand Dow. We are getting close to anarchy in this country. Next murdering police will be common.

As a former police officer this was a disgrace, the disrespect for law enforcement personnel. The real issue is today cops do not know how to act, they are dammed if they take action by community leaders and politicians pandering for votes, and dammed if they dont by their own brethren. My fear is that cops have to think too hard to take action in dangerous situations and that they may lose their or their partner’s life.

Do you know if the NYPD carry tasers? Maybe unconsciously if the NYPD officers had pulled out their taser, the with a bucket of water poured over then they would receive a shock also. I would like to know what the four officers in question, what is their opinion of what was done to them and praise them for their forbearance with these malicious hooligans! The four officers conducted themselves in a very professional manner and deserve our thanks and apology for citizens out of control!

When I was single and stupid, I got smart with an officer who proceeded to throw me in the back seat of the squad car and physically pummel me a few times. Guess what? I had it coming.

Time for NYPD to take about 100 black police officers and hide them inside surveillance vans, storefronts, coffee shops, etc.
