Catholic cardinal rebukes Pope, calls mass migration “a new form of slavery”

A prominent African cardinal within the Catholic Church took a not so subtle swipe at Pope Francis’ constant use of scripture concerning the role of government’s responsibility towards the growing crises of mass migration currently gripping America.

Cardinal Robert Sarah branded mass migration a “new form of slavery” and said those who seek to use the Bible to promote migration are pushing a “false” interpretation of the scriptures.

The stunning swipe by Cardinal Sarah towards the Holy Father, although thinly veiled, may have been in response to Pope Francis’ constant slap at President Trump for attempting to stem the flow of thousands upon thousands of illegal migrants overrunning our southern border, and the surge of drugs, criminals and human traffickers pouring into our country.

In a new interview with French publication “Valeurs Actuelles” Cardinal Sarah said, “It is a false exegesis to use the Word of God to promote migration. God never wanted these rifts.”
Sarah currently serves in the Vatican as the head of the Vatican’s liturgy office and has frequently been mentioned within the inner-circles of papal watchers; to one day perhaps succeed Pope Francis.

Although he frequently makes waves regarding his conservative views, which stands in stock contrast to Pope Francis’ more progressive views regarding liturgical practices, Islam, migration, and other issues.

Moreover, those waves are on full display within the pages of the French article in which Sarah, from Guinea, has extremely harsh words for priests and bishops who “say fuzzy things, vague, imprecise, to escape criticism, and they marry the stupid evolution of the world.”

When it comes to the issue of mass migration in Europe, Cardinal Sarah, unlike Pope Francis, isn’t concerned about being “politically correct” stating emphatically that the Church should not cooperate with the increasing acceptance by politicians regarding hordes of migrants overrunning what is a traditionally Christian continent.

“All migrants who arrive in Europe are penniless, without work, without dignity…This is what the Church wants?” he asked. “The Church can not cooperate with this new form of slavery that has become mass migration.

If the West continues in this fatal way, there is a great risk that, due to a lack of birth, it will disappear, invaded by foreigners, just as Rome has been invaded by barbarians.”

Sarah added: “My country is predominantly Muslim. I think I know what reality I’m talking about.”

There’s little doubt that Cardinal Sarah and President Trump share a common belief and an understanding of history, which contradicts Pope Francis’ view of the world at large. The Pontiff has repeatedly stressed the value of migration and has encouraged European countries, in particular, to open their border to flows of migrants coming from the third world.

“The issue of migration will never be resolved by raising barriers, fomenting fear of others or denying assistance to those who legitimately aspire to a better life for themselves and their families,” Francis said.

As a Christian, I hesitate to brand the Holy Father a hypocrite. Thus I’ll simply allow the facts to speak for themselves.

The Vatican where the Holy Father resides is an independent city-state. The Pope exercises principal legislative, executive, and judicial power over the State of Vatican City. While it’s extremely difficult to figure out what the Catholic Church’s net worth is, a recent 2013 NBC article estimated the wealth of the Church exceeds 8 billion dollars, that’s not counting the hundreds of thousands of Catholic dioceses around the world.

Ironically the iconic and fabled Vatican City walls that now surround the Holy City was built after Muslim raiders known as the Saracens looted Old St. Peter’s Basilica and the Papal Basilica of St. Paul.

After the rampage and the destruction of sacred Christian sites, Pope Leo IV created the Leonine Wall, surrounding the Vatican Hill. Additional defenses were added in the 15th and 16th centuries.

This brings us back to Cardinal Sarah who apparently knows a thing or two about history and how it inevitability repeats itself if not vigilant.

If this Pope truly believed what he’s telling others to believe, he would be tearing down the protective walls encircling Vatican City. He’s well protected by body guards and a strong wall. I thought he said he was going to take in a certain number of “immigrants”…then he decided not to. I see him as a hypocrite.

Yes, Cardinal Sarah, you certainly would know how this all ends up. Most do because their families have lived through it. Historical data is being ignored intentionally and Pope Francis certainly should know why Christianity is non-existent in the Middle East today. Overlooking the elephant in the room. 17,000+ dying from illegal drugs alone in one year alone. Just how many more is okay? How many rapes are okay?

Seems to me Francis should spend more time tending to deplorable situations in his own house and FAR LESS time running around the world telling others what they should be doing. He seems to find a surplus of wrongs with certain governments and virtually none with many oppressive ones. I hope I’m wrong

Hip-hip-horray, that’s what I have to say! “Right” on, as far as this Catholic is concerned this Marxist-Jesuit NWO-puppet “Dope Francis” is the False Prophet the Bible speaks of as he continuously spews heresy.I surmise that he will usher in the Anti-Christ whom I consider could be Obaa-baa-ma, the pied piper of his sheeple and another NWO-puppet that has as much false pride as Satan himself! We are living in the End of Age Days as Christianity is being persecuted more and more while the Culture of Death takes over “TRANSFORMED & TRANSGENDERED AMERIKA” and the globe!

The old fool misuses scripture to justify when it says the opposite. Christ said “render unto ceaser that which is ceaser’s. IOW…follow the laws of the land. The USA isn’t against immigration, if done legally, which climbing over the border is not. Do it properly and be vetted and you’re welcomed. Do it illegally and you’re a criminal….as simple as that. This pope is in his second childhood and needs to be replaced before he destroys the church.
