Pelosi’s tit is trumped by Trump’s tat

With 800,000 federal workers on furlough, four dead American servicemen in draped coffins, more migrant caravans heading to America’s southern border, an upcoming summit with North Korea’s Kim Jong-un, a probable impeachment of the President of the United States and the general political malaise that is gripping the nation, one would hope that our nation’s leaders would get down to serious business and do the jobs they were elected to do and actually solve some problems. But instead, we have descended into the politics of tit for tat.

We have House Speaker Nancy “never negotiate” Pelosi operating in a manner that suggests she has no idea what is going on around her. I know, the press has been building her up as tough, courageous and a political genius. As much as they try to pump hot air into that narrative, the reality says otherwise.

Political geniuses do not paint themselves in a corner like Pelosi. Rather than being open to negotiations, she has declared that she would never, never, never give Trump his money for border security – the wall. Now if she loses that battle – which she is likely to do — Trump not only will have gotten his money for the wall, but he will have shattered Democratic Party unity BECAUSE she overplayed her hand. That is not the work of a political genius.

Pelosi, the Democrats, and the left-wing media believe that the shutdown is destroying the Republican Party – or at least will do so after Trump is impeached, and they take over the Senate and the White House in 2020. That is why Pelosi is not negotiating. She and the Democrats want the shutdown to continue. They believe that every day it goes on, the GOP is getting hurt.

That is why Pelosi goes to Hawaii and San Francisco for a vacation on the eve of the shutdown. It is why she allowed here Democrat colleagues to go to Puerto Rico for a romp … a junket … another working vacation. That is why she organized a junket to the Middle East for herself and her colleagues even as they claim the shutdown is a national crisis.

What does it tell America that the chief negotiator of the major issue of the day is going to go AWOL for seven days? It tells us that Pelosi’s only strategy is to wait for Trump to cave. If he does not – and it does not appear he will – she will have walked herself and her Party into a brick wall.

The #NeverTrump Resistance Movement media has cast Trump’s cancellation of Pelosi’s overseas trip as a petty and childish response to her withdrawing the traditional invitation to the President to deliver the State of the Union Speech on the floor of the house before a joint session – with Supreme Court justices and Cabinet secretaries also in attendance. In evaluating these two moves of pawns on the political chessboard, the cancellation of the speech is counterproductive to transparency and an informed public. It serves no good purpose. It is simply petty politics.

In canceling the trip, Trump is underscoring the need for Pelosi to be in Washington and involved in the negotiations. She is the Democrats’ chief negotiator. Just imagine if the teachers’ union in Los Angeles – in the middle of the strike, with kids out of school – took a week off to go to some union convention. The public would be outraged, as it should be. Trump’s efforts to keep Pelosi in Washington serves a good purpose. The least Pelosi can do is to negotiate. If she does not want to strike a deal – if she holds out for a total victory — she may eventually face her unconditional surrender. And that would be okay, too.

So, there ‘tis

Thanks a lot for that mental image of Pelosi’s tit. Not the best headline.

I have to agree with Mr.Horist. Ms Pelosi does not care one bit about the American citizen or protecting our borders. She is only for herself. With all the stupid and silly remarks she has made in recent years shows us that she is no longer in control of her mind or actions and should retire. I once had respect for Ms Pelosi but no longer. I also firmly believe that the Democrat Party has been taken over by the far left who some of the leaders has declared themselves either as socialist or communist. I saw this coming many years ago and left the Democrat Party and became an Independent. Ms. Pelosi is doing great harm to this nation and its citizens by her actions of today.

She is totally interested in revenge to the president and the Republican Party. She has been so unhappy the past 8 years with being the miniority party. She cares very little for the welfare of the American People.

This is the greatest. It sure would be OK with me if this sent Pelosi packing for good. She needs to retire and take it easy for a few years.

Trump is the one who has painted himself into a corner. He had previously agreed to a continuing resolution to keep the government running while border security was negotiated. Then Coulter, Limbaugh, Hannity, etc started bleating at him, and he backed out of the deal. This is not how a mature, reasonable individual behaves. Several bills have been proposed that do include money for border security, just not the entire unnecessary$5.7 billion Trump is demanding. And btw, demanding your own way or nothing is also not negotiating.
And yes, the timing of Pelosi’s planned trip was not a good idea. But Trump’s response was petty and juvenile, especially the tactic of pulling the rug out last-minute after many were already at Andrews or heading there. We need to get an adult in the White House.

Wether or not Trunp is as mature as we might all wish he was, he has absolutely done more good than any president I can think of in my 54 years on this earth. The world is a mess, the country was a mess but has truly made a great turn for the better in so many areas. It is truly deeply disturbing how people’s hatred blinds their intelligence. Example, the nanny nanny boo boo Democrat’s say Trump said Mexico was going to pay for the wall, well lookie lookie they aren’t paying? Do you people not understand that the trade deals with Mexico create far more income for the U.S from Mexico than 100 walls would cost? Sincerely? I could not stand Obama and stood by and watched him do more damaging, insane things than I was almost capable of even imagining, but he was our president and was chosen by the majority and that’s how our great country works, so he got his time did his bad and good if there was any and he is gone, thank God and now it is Trumps turn. He won, he is President and is doing good and bad, let’s stop hating and pull together in Love like God would want us to and pray for him and trust God and hope that Trump has great success regardless of how he does it or what party he represents, because the fact is he represents us all wether you like it or not!!

Its is Pelosi who is painted in the corner. Trump can hold out forever. No one can make him cave. Virtually every observer — pro and anti Trump — agree that the Senate GOP is not going to override a veto. That leaves only one conclusion… the Dems have to cave. And it is already happening. A number of Dems are calling for giving Trump his money and ending the shutdown. Even Mika Brzezinski has called for that. One or two more missed paydays and Trump will get his money. Public pressure is shifting.

The MORE Pelosi resists giving Trump any kind of concessions the faster she will retreat into the requirement of having to CAVE to Trump;s push to get some funds out of Pelosi and into the funding bill because of all of the pressures she is getting from all sides AND the DEMONrats will likely not have any ability to force anybody to their bidding anymore and not get their ability to gain another seat in any congress any more and will likely loose a lot of what they have gained over time.

As I have already said several times, you and your cronies are just as much garbage as those you talk about. You instigate hatred, inflated know nothing opinions, and you, as well as those who run the government are making this country into a hell hole.

Pelosi has always seemed to be in a fog and I have to wonder about the sanity of the Democratic party because they knew the shape she was in long before they voted her back into her current position! I think she is in even worse shape than Hillary Clinton!

How many times have the Democrats begged the other side to raise the debt limit? Every time the Republicans have said first we need to talk about cutting some of the budget. The Democrats then say the Republicansame are going to shut down the government because they won’t agree to raise the limit. The Democrats demand to raise the limit and then we’ll discuss cutting debt. Republicans agree to keep government open, raise the debt limit and then the Democrats do their drive-by distraction and never discuss cuts. That is what they are asking now also. Open the government and we’ll discuss funding the wall. If the President opens up the government, we’ll never have a discussion from the Democrats. They will distract everyone from the issue with lies that the President is a Russian or some other ubsurd unsubstantiated accusation. Just watch what we’ll get from the Distractocrats. No discussion after they lie to agree to one. They care much more about illegal lawbreakers than law abiding US citizens.
