Stop the 25th Amendment Silliness

Stop the 25th Amendment Silliness

From the day of his election, the #NeverTrump resistance movement has been determined to drive President Trump out of office by any means necessary unlike any time in our history. The closest example would be the 1860 election of Abraham Lincoln, and in that case, the resisters chose flight over fight in the form of a series of secession declarations.

In these times, only in California do we hear murmurs of secession – and in that case, there may be a lack of national resolve to oppose the effort. Some have even proposed that Vermont exit the union, but the folks of the Green Mountain State are spared by the one thing that mitigates against cessation – maple syrup.

After the stunned left failed to convince electors to break faith and vote against Trump, and after they failed to have the Congress block Trump’s inauguration, and since impeachment is a long-term process, the resistance movement fantasizes over the 25th Amendment. It allows for a President to be replaced by the Vice President in the event of catastrophic incapacitation.

Rather than explaining why the 25th Amendment cannot be invoked to remove Trump from office – or even give time to those who can explain – the anti-Trump media misinforms the public to gain a few political points for the left-wing resistance movement. First, THEY talk about the use of the Amendment and then THEY say that even talking about it has serious implications for Trump’s mental ability to carry out his duties and his plans.

Let’s make it clear. The 25th Amendment was never intended to be a form of impeachment. It was not designed to promote a coup against even an unpopular President. It is not in any way applicable to the current presidency. It will not happen because it cannot happen. It was crafted to cover situations in with the President of the United States was severely physically incapacitated — if the president were to fall into a coma, for example.

It would only apply when the President was not able to voluntarily assign the powers of the office to the Vice President during a temporary incapacity – such as was done when President Eisenhower was hospitalized after a heart attack.

First and foremost, the 25th Amendment does not … repeat, does not … remove a President from office. It only temporarily transfers the powers of the office to the Vice President – and the operative word is “temporarily.”

The procedure to invoke the Amendment would require a majority of the Cabinet and the Vice President to notify Congress of the President’s critical inability to function. The media, and even the most ardent Trump resisters should be able to recognize the impossibility of that hurdle is cleared.

If such a plot was advanced against a President not literally incapacitated, it is likely the President would get wind of the coup – at which time he could fire all the involved Cabinet members and exile the Vice President to the Department for the Production of Paper Airplanes. There could even be credible indictments for treason.

Even under the 25th Amendment, the President has the power to say, “I’m okay,” and reclaim his powers. He could do this even if the Amendment had been invoked during an incapacitating illness. The minute the President can declare himself to be well and capable, the powers go back to the Oval Office.

Those who believe the 25th Amendment is a viable option to achieve their treacherous goals are ignorant of the facts and realities. And those in the media who give false hope to the radical resisters are shamelessly engaging in false news – propaganda.

The only thing that will bring us out of this depression is free energy, hydrogen from water, have this as your debate, you can make all the hydrogen, as you drive from a tank of water, you know our space shuttles, are powered by hydrogen / oxygen made from water, tell every one not buy a new car / truck, to boycott the auto company’s, when they can’t sell their pieces of junk low mileage vehicles, they will have to bring out water to hydrogen powered vehicles, and kits to change the vehicles now that we have, just think what our world would be like with free energy. Do you want your world back? spread the word boycott the auto company’s that are destroying our world.

Also audit all the Senator’s and representatives, they have wasted, and stole our money, make them repay all, and tax them.
Do these 2 things, and the Demo rats will be finished, don’t do this and the civil war, will escalate, and the economy will collapse

Bryce Thompson, you should go back to the Department for the Production of Paper Airplanes, where you’ll be safe. Swear to God.
