Bill Maher Wants America to Fail

Bill Maher has revealed something that many believe to be true of the anti-Trump media – that they hate Trump more than they love America. One can recall that immediately following the election of 2016, outgoing President Obama called on all Americans to help Trump succeed as president. That traditional sentiment was reflected in statements by any number of political leaders, including a lot of Democrats. That is the American way.

Unfortunately, the radical political left, which controls the Democratic Party and has enormous influence with the Big Seven New York City/Washington media cabal (NBC, CBS, ABC, CNN, MSNBC, New York Times and Washington Post), began what they call the “resistance movement.” Under the hashtag #NeverTrump, they sent forth the command not to “normalize” Trump. In other words, nothing positive should be said or reported about anything President Trump says or does. The spin dial must be set to “negative” only. As a result, finding a true and articulate Trump, Republican or conservative advocate on MSNBC – the leader of the anti-Trump pack – is like finding a Muslim at a pig roast.

According to the radical left, the effort to bring down Trump must be pursued even at the cost of damaging the reputation, power, and influence of America and the welfare of its citizens. The negative opinion so many nations may hold of America is the result of this constant bad mouthing of Trump, his policies, and half the American public. It is horrible to realize that all those CNN hatchet jobs get broadcast all over the world.

In a recent broadcast, political activist and sometimes humorist Bill Maher has brought the disregard for America to the fore. He is hoping for an economic crash – recession –if that is what it would take to reverse Trump’s growing popularity. He would want millions of Americans to suffer a severe economic setback in the cruel desire to make Trump unpopular – and to what end?

Perhaps Maher thinks that would bring about the Democrat’s take-over of the House and Senate. Maybe he believes that would lead to an impeachment. Maybe Maher would be satisfied to cripple Trump sufficiently to prevent his re-election in 2020 – even if it means taking down America.

On his “Real Time” show on HBO, Maher said that to achieve his goal “the bottom has to fall out sometime. And by the way, I am hoping for it. So please, bring on the recession.”

In an example of over-the-top hyperbole, Maher declared a ridiculous choice that only an unhinged hateful partisan could proffer. “Its either root for a recession or lose your democracy.”

Isn’t this where HBO steps in and admonishes Maher for his malignant curse on the people of America? I know he has free speech, but this was said in a work setting where the owners share responsibility for the content. Failing that, perhaps it is time for a boycott of the Maher show.

Unfortunately, this is not the madness of one man, but the very foundation of the #NeverTrump resistance movement that is being played out every day in the NY/DC media rooms and on the Los Angeles stages.

Oh, I know. He is just a comedian and saying outlandish things is the currency of the trade. To that, I say, b*llsh*t! (I wonder why it is discrete to not spell out that word when every reader over ten years old knows what I mean? But, I digress.) Every joke must always have a seed of truth – and Maher’s wish was not even delivered as a joke.

Maher has made himself the spokesperson for the #NeverTrump political base. We should all pay attention to his words – and act accordingly. Another increase in Trump’s numbers and maybe those arrogant elitists in New York and Los Angeles will start to see the error of their ways. Maybe they will put country ahead of their politics of hate. Maybe they will stop viewing half the nation as a basket of deplorables. Maybe they will learn to be objective in analyzing the Trump administration. Maybe …. Nay!

Those of us among the President’s supporters who believe in Jesus Christ and consider our prayers for him our most valuable form of reinforcement must be wary of the temptation toward anger and hatred towards these media #NeverTrumpers. The psalmist said that if we “regard iniquity in our heart,” the Lord will not hear us. Christ Himself said to “bless those who hate you, and pray for those who persecute you.” A tall order that requires a regenerate heart and the help of the Holy Spirit. So we need to pray for these people, even if the best we can manage is what I call “the Tsar’s Blessing” by a rabbi in “Fiddler On the Roof”: when asked if there was a proper blessing for the Russian ruler who instigated pogroms, he said yes. “God bless and keep the Tsar…far away from us!”

Bill Majer’s dumb comment was also reflected in the De Niro rant which is typical of Hollywood trying to ACT like they are the apostles of truth in America.
The more these fools talk the more Trump becomes a better choice. Go for it Mr. De Stupid.

Everything that is stated or written in the above article, just replace President Obama’s name there instead of Trump, and see if this article doesn’t sounds the same of the Republicans far-right,FOX News and AM broadcasters. It sounds almost identical isn’t it. The hate that the Right has for Obama even after he took over in a crashing economy(losing 750,000+ jobs per month) before he stop the bleeding and change the trajectory on a upward swing, leading the US economy to a record monthly upward turned. An upward turn for the longest upward swing ever, and they didn’t even want to give him credit for his achievements, and look into all other great accomplishments he was abled to do during the same time the US economy was changing. Do your homework!

You are certainly off-base. President Obama humiliated the country with his “Apology Tour”

The economy had started its upward swing before Obama took office. Bush got no credit for that.

I have many friends, democrats and republicans alike. I belong to a group of over 200 men. In all my years, no one has ever mentioned Bill Maher? Does anyone watch his program? Seems to me he is an irrelevant voice not worth commenting on.

Anyone who watches Bill Maher regularly (and I have for many years) will know that, aside from being a remarkably hilarious comedian, he often makes astute remarks about the far left as well as the far right. In fact, his closing monologues are often anchored by a plea for common sense and balance to return to the American discourse. I applaud him for offering a voice of reason in this increasingly chaotic left vs right world.
